CATS

CATS was the first blockbuster musical that set the stage for the megamusical trend of large-scale shows intended for a world-wide audience. It's hard to believe, but CATS opened forty three years ago! The challenges for small theaters producing these huge shows are many. Figuring out how to manage the sets and lighting, along with the costume and musical requirements is a daunting task, and many small theaters simply choose to do other, smaller shows. NOT ACTORS CABARET!

 

Artistic Director Joe Zingo and Producer Jim Roberts have never turned down a challenge, and when ACE premiered CATS fourteen years ago, our sold out production was a resounding success. The wait to see CATS again is over! We've assembled a cast of over thirty volunteer performers and crew members ready once more to turn our small theater into the location of The Jellicle Ball!
